...they care WHY you do it!
Real estate agents are in a profession where each contact they make probably knows at least one or two, but more likely a handful, of other professionals who do exactly the same thing they do, the same "what". Is your marketing and messaging a bunch of fancy language to say: I sell real estate? Borrrrrring.
And most assuredly not unique. You sound no different than your friend's cousin's sister's aunt's yoga instructor that sells real estate "as a side business" if all you are telling people is WHAT you do. What moves people, what inspires people, what motivates people to champion your brand and your cause? Not WHAT you do, but rather, WHY you do it.
Are you totally clear on that? Can you easily and clearly talk about how your business is different than the next agent's without talking about WHAT it is you're doing?
